Victor Samalot is an accomplished guitarist and bassist as well as Co-founder / guitarist for rock - fusion group Rare Blend (1994-present) with 5 CD releases receiving college & internet radio airplay and CD sales in the US, Europe, South America, Japan, etc...Rare Blend has also gained rave reviews regionally and worldwide from major publications such as All About Jazz, Jazz Review, 20th Century Guitar magazine, Progression Magazine, Relix Magazine, Akron Beacon Journal, The Plain Dealer, Cleveland Scene, and many more...

Victor Samalot has been playing professionally for over 25 years with a successful career performing in concerts, Festivals, television appearances, film scoring, studio sessions, and teaching guitar.

Since late 2009, Victor has been performing as a solo instrumental guitarist inspired by Jazz stylings, Latin, Acoustic rock, Ambient and World rhythms. Covering artists such as Santana, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Dave Brubeck, Ottmar Liebert, Craig Chaquico, Jose Feliciano, George Benson, etc... along with some original music mixed in. Victor also uses digital looping technology which is a foot-activated device capable of simultaneous recording and playback in real-time creating a one man band sound.
